It’s Tuesday. That means it’s time to get out your favorite taco ingredients and get to work. After all, everyone loves Taco Tuesdays, right? Well, we understand that at some point you might get sick of ground beef, chicken or pork so it’s time to give your taste buds a much-needed surprise – grilled salmon.

Salmon in taco form? You’re kidding, right? No, we’re not kidding and if you like salmon as much as we do, we can just about guarantee you’re going to love this recipe:

Ingredients:

Olive oil

Chile powder

Fresh lime juice

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Wild salmon fillets

6 inch corn tortillas

Directions:

Pre-heat your grill to medium-high heat and allow it to warm up while you prepare salmon. Combine oil, chile powder, lime juice salt and pepper in a bowl and then apply liberally to salmon. Grill salmon skin-side down until it cooked through – roughly 8 minutes. Warm tortillas on the grill or in cast iron skillet. Serve salmon inside tortilla and pile high your favorite toppings.

Pro Tip: We recommend topping with cabbage slaw, avocado and cilantro crema.
