Chips and salsa. Hot dogs. Buffalo wings. We’re calling these go-to football dishes “food fumbles” because you can and should be feasting on things far more delicious during the game. So, this weekend, it’s time to wow your friends and family members with these gourmet football viewing finger foods:

Loaded Black Bean Nachos

Don’t forgo the tortilla chips altogether, just reconsider the way in which you utilize them. Instead of putting them in a plastic bowl on the coffee table, put them on a baking sheet and load them up with black beans, refried beans, pulled chicken and shredded cheese. Once they come out of the oven, top with red and green salsas, sour cream and fresh guac.

Southern Fried Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Instead of calling in an order or wings, give something the fans will cheer about. You can’t go wrong with fried buffalo chicken topped with lettuce, pickles and a dab of bleu cheese on a sesame seed bun.

Peach and Brie Quesadillas

For those who prefer meatless options, this will surely pass the test. Tuck fresh peach slices and brie cheese in between corn tortillas and serve with a sweet and spicy red chile honey dipping sauce. Is your mouth watering yet?

Pimiento Cheese

It seems to be what everyone is talking about these days and it’s for a good reason. Pimiento cheese is quite easy to make and it goes great with pretzels, crackers or vegetables. Heck, it’s so versatile you can even spread it on a sandwich!
