Mimosas? Check. Bloody Marys? Check. Yogurt parfait bar? Check. Now all you need is to invite a few of your closest friends for a backyard brunch they’ll never forget. Who said you need to go out to an expensive restaurant to enjoy a spectacular brunch? Not us.

Set The Scene

Sure, the food and the drinks should be the centerpiece but it wouldn’t hurt to set up the backyard with some decorations to set the mood. Lay out a certain area for dining, a food and drink bar and give your guests plenty of room for seating. We recommend setting the table the right way – with a tablecloth, fresh flowers and nice cutlery.

What To Serve

The most important part of brunch is spending time with your friends and family members which is why we recommend preparing the food well in advance. You don’t want to spend the morning in the kitchen while your guests are enjoying the beautiful weather outside without you. Treat everyone to a yogurt parfait bar and spinach frittatas. And don’t forget the staples – bacon and eggs.

Drinks

What’s a brunch without a few cocktails? Try a twist on the standard mimosa by adding grapefruit juice instead. And Bloody Marys are a must!
