At an early age Katherine saw how much joy just one bite of food could bring to a person and fell in love with the idea of being part of the food business. In fact, when she was 13, as a birthday present, her family enrolled her in “Culinary Bootcamp” at the Culinary Institute of America. She loved it! Ultimately, she decided to attend Marist College, a mere 2 miles from the CIA, and earned her Finance degree. After a few years in the business world, Katherine returned to her passion! She now manages the kitchen production and is the lead purchasing and costing agent at DSC. She still is in awe of the artistry and joy that goes into making food. Especially here at David’s!
