Brian Bender is the Executive Chef at David’s Soundview Catering in Stamford Connecticut. Previously, Chef Brian owned and operated The Cutting Board Café and Catering in Ridgefield from 2008-2014. After earning a restaurant and hotel management degree from City College of San Francisco in 1990, Brian solidified his foundation with a Culinary Arts degree from The Culinary Institute of America in 1994.
Before owning his own restaurant and catering company, Chef Brian sharpened his knives and skills in some of the finest kitchens in the country including The Ritz Carlton Mauna Lani, Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua NY, La Reserve and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Brian lives in Ridgefield with his wife Rachel and their daughters Marley and Talia.
