Melissa DeSousa has been at the helm of DSC operations for over 17 years! A graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Melissa began her culinary career at the age of 16, working in a quaint home-style restaurant and bakery in Bethel, CT where she was raised. Melissa developed her knowledge of food and honed her skills in the hospitality industry over the next 30 years through waiting tables, bartending and ultimately managing catered events for restaurants and country clubs. Melissa’s passion for designing and executing exciting and seamless events for clients is evident with every step of her event planning process. She loves to interact with clients and assist them in planning the occasions that celebrate the most memorable times in their lives. She currently resides in Stamford, CT.
