David Cingari, the owner and founder of David’s Soundview Catering, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and the University of New Haven School of Hospitality. David began his culinary career working as a professional chef for the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City prior to opening his own restaurant and catering company in Stamford in 1988. Today, in his 5,000 square foot, state of the art culinary kitchen, David and his team of seasoned chefs and catering professionals transform fresh, locally sourced ingredients into delicious culinary creations, beautifully presented.
David’s Soundview Catering received The Stamford Chamber of Commerce Company of the Year award in 2009 and continues to be featured in both regional and national media outlets. David is extremely involved in local charity events and community organizations, giving of his time and resources to give back to a community that has given so much to him. Always ready for anything, David put it all out there for Curtain Call Theatre’s “Dancing with the Stars” in 2011, where he danced in front of more than 2,000 people at the Palace Theatre winning the best male performer. David is an active member of The International Catering Association, sits on the Board of Directors for the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, and was recently appointed as a First County Bank Corporator, supporting the Stamford business community and nonprofit development.
